Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar – Houseboat Serenity & Shikara Magic
- Attractions Covered: Arrival & Check-in • Shikara Ride • Mughal Gardens • Dal Lake • Shankaracharya Temple • Local Markets
- Stay: Deluxe Houseboat on Dal Lake
- Arrive at Srinagar Airport where you’ll be warmly received and transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, begin your journey with a sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit the famed Mughal Gardens – Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi, followed by a panoramic view from the Shankaracharya Temple.
- In the evening, enjoy a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake and explore the charming local markets. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 Day Trip to Gulmarg
- Activities: Gondola Ride • Meadows • Snow Fun (seasonal)
- Stay: Hotel in Srinagar
- After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Gulmarg – the “Meadow of Flowers,” about 2 hours from Srinagar. Enjoy the stunning landscapes, and if weather permits, experience the thrilling Gondola cable car ride up to Phase 1 or Phase 2 for panoramic views of the Himalayas.
- Engage in optional activities like horse riding or snow fun, depending on the season. Later in the afternoon, return to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 3 Pahalgam Sightseeing & Overnight Stayr
- Highlights: Saffron Fields • Apple Orchards • Lidder River • Betaab or Aru Valley (optional) Stay: Hotel in Pahalgam
- Check out after breakfast and drive to the scenic valley of Pahalgam, also known as the “Valley of Shepherds.” En route, pass through saffron fields, apple orchards, and pine forests.
- Upon arrival, visit the Lidder River and enjoy local sightseeing or opt for a pony ride to Betaab Valley or Aru Valley (at own cost). Check-in at your hotel and spend a peaceful evening surrounded by nature. Dinner and overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 4 Departure – Until Next Time, Kashmir
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed back to Srinagar Airport for your departure with beautiful memories from the Classic Kashmir Experience.
